The current situation

It’s been a while since our last update.

Ever since then, we have had two Typesetters recruited, one of whose internet connection is down for the past few days, and another who is unable to be on his PC…

Our primary Translator has also disappeared.

And I need not say much about the unpleasant things that took place in the last post. After that, I highly doubt anybody would want to even think about helping us out.

In this situation, things just go down a downward spiral: lack of timely releases –> failure to draw recruits –> staff pool gets stagnant –> everyone loses motivation –> releases become even less timely. Unfortunately, we seem to have fallen within that loop for the past year.

I believe I am mostly the one to blame for this. But well, the future is still uncertain. At this point, I’m trying to keep things going. All projects have question marks on their heads right now. We’ll see what happens.

Still, thank you to those who still care about us.

PS. 8th Feb, 1300 UTC: We’re moving to a new server very soon, so there will be some downtime. Please bear with us. And those who care, please check my comment in this page. Thanks.

10th Feb, 2200 UTC: Moving is now complete. Thank you for your patience.

Also, Log Horizon Volume 1 BDMVs have turned up. We still lack Typesetters (the two people are still AWOL, so guys, if you’re reading this, please know your turn is up) for the project. If this continues, I shall be forced to Β drop it, despite willing to continue. In order for us not to get the Bad End, please help us! Just take it easy and take your time to settle things out.. About Log Horizon, honestly, I really want your version of it, but it is up to you.. If you decide to do it, you will find me waiting for it.. πŸ™‚

To the guys who are replying: Thank you, really.

Let’s take these hypothetical situations (these are HYPOTHETICAL, please keep in mind):

    1. We drop Log Horizon, and pick up something totally different, like a Visual Novel.

    2. We don’t drop Log Horizon and continue with it. (Least probable)

    3. We drop neither and work on both that and a Visual Novel, but it takes a year or maybe two to finish LH.

Which one would you guys prefer?

  6. archdeco says:

    4. Drop Log Horizon and do not pick up anything else.
If you can’t handle a simple 12 ep show, VN will end up in complete failure as well.

  7. iMark says:

    For me:

Don’t drop LH; Continue it. πŸ™‚
