Papa no Iu Koto wo Kikinasai! – 05

Thanks to Shoujo_Q for translating, yours truly for timing, AvidElite for editing, sm2345 for QC, Virus123 for Encoding/TS/QC, and Assasin_Cross for TS. OP song was updated to official lyrics. It would have been released over three days ago but AC was busy having a “RL“. And then an extra half a day for Virus123 to fix that magical TS script since well Link.

That being said, we are in need of an experienced typesetter who is willing to put in several hours each week into this series. Past group experience is required and you will be tested if you decide to apply. Otherwise we will continue to delay since we’ll continue finding silly things in the TS script like Link. If you’re still interested simply inform sm2345 on our IRC channel through PM.

sm2345 Edit: There’s an extra quote by Virus123 in the subs at 07:34. Sorry about that. It’ll be fixed in the batch. And a shoutout to the team for working so hard on this. o/

EDIT2: Actually, heck it lol. v2 and patch coming up in a few hours… Wow, this beats the record for consecutive v2s… -_- Really sorry bout that, everyone.

Hello, thanks for the great subs!
I’ve found some things that may have to be edited at minute 07:34 when sora talks.
the subtitle “That’s right, it would be troublesome.{V123 – consistancy”

    thanks again! ^_^

Just to let you know, the link to the torrent’s been rewritten over by wordpress. I’ll be using the DLL for now but you might want to look into that. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Use MPC-HomeCinema.1.5.2.3456.x86 to copy kfx subs to a separate ass. file, will play kfx cleanly from that. Also can edit out/bracket V123’s line at 7:34.

If you’re talking about the problem with the flashing kara subs, I’ve found a solution of sorts…

I use K-lite, so I don’t know if this will work for you if you’re using a different codec pack. Open up DirectVobSub which can be found in the start menu>k-lite codec pack>configuration. A properties window should open up. Click on the “Misc” tab, and find “Sub pictures to buffer:”. You have two options here:
      1. Set it to 0 (zero). Will make sure that the kara won’t flash, but I think relies on a rather powerful computer/graphics card.
      2. Set it to 60 (sixty), which is the max. This is the setting I’m currently using, and for the most part it works perfectly fine. If I’m doing something intensive and/or trying to watch it on the highest quality I got (HDMI to 1900×1080 screen), it may still flash from time to time, but not as much as normal.

If you aren’t happy with either, you could always watch it on VLC Player. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ugh vlc. Besides, I know setting that to 0 works, but it’s a stupid issue in MPCHC’s Internal Subtitle Renderer, from what I know.

Besides, get madVR + MPCHC + LAV Filters + xy-VSFilter for best quality. I’m working on a guide to set that up, it should be up soon.
